Latin Tattoo translation needed

"winning hearts and minds," or "winning through hearts and minds" (not sure which sounds cooler in Latin). From the sites I've visited I've pieced together some starters, but don't know enough grammar to check my work (you really only want to ink once after all hehe). vincente per cor et mendibus (...that seems a bit long...any advice?)
