Lightning tattoo

Hey i have been wanting to get a tattoo of lightning for a while now im 18 and ever since i was struck by lightning this summer ive been wanting to get a tattoo with lightning and the date incorperated into in but ive never been able to figure out how im going to do and if the lightning will look as "real" as possible people have been saying that it would be too hard to get it to look like real lightning but i dont want it to look like a single cartoon z line bolt but im unsure of how i want it and where i was look to put it on my left arm or on my right shoulder blade and if even possible im a huge longhorns fan and i wander if it would be possible to incorperate all three and still look good

take a look at a lot of the artists on here, the ability to get photo-realism shouldn't hold you back, if you really want it get it. Research some good artists, if there aren't any in your area contact the one you like the best and see if you can arrange something for a convention. Don't settle for a tattoo you'll hate in a couple of years just b/c the local street shop doesn't want to push to give you what you want.

yes i agree but im still not sure on what exactally what i want dont with it i know i want lightning with the dat ein corperated into it but i dont know how and ideas?
