Looking for a community of private Tattoo artists

My husband and I have been tattooing ourselves for about 15 years. We started out with homemade machines and have since graduated to professional rigs. We only tattoo each other, we use medical quality sterilization etc. etc, professional supplies, we don't share our rigs with anyone else, it's all very private. As artists, we enjoy the artistic control, and as (somewhate) introverts we prefer the intimacy of our own set up. I am SO bored with tattoo mags full of crappy airbrushed art and I'm mostly inspired by the depths achieved with fine line work (and I personally have a lot of single needle "filigree" work. We take many many hours, weeks, months, years to produce our pieces (who wants to be covered in a day?) The process is so much a part of our art. I am certain there are thousands of artists like us, but cannot find ANY communities online that support, and only find "scratcher" hating propaganda. Does there exist a community for artists like us? I did read once that there was a NY movement of home based/very private artists. Any info would be greatly appreciated. KINDLY, Katie
