Look at how many are out there. Just like tattooing.. research before purchasing :)
You want to know of any compatibility, usage, what pens (airbrush available too) work, and most of all operating system and software compatibility. I can tell you when my Tablet is working in Photoshop and Corel paint is like night and day. Even works great for navigating my computer, although I have copied alot of folder accidentally. Again a learning curve...I was like a a beginning computer user with a mouse for a while.
My windows Vista operating system likes to crash out the tablet randomly alot. Microsoft says its Wacom's fault and vice versa. I bought the Intous3 when I got my laptop and aside from having to restart every once in a while its a great tool.
Unless you get a great deal I would not buy any that use a serial adapter. USB has taken over as the supported connection for Wacom. Great forum on the above website. A liitle hard to navigate last time I was there but you want to go to the European webstie to get to the useful forum.
Good luck and you can't have mine sorry
nice links. Im looking for a 6x8 bluetooth ideally, though, we will see what people offer up. I've used them before, but thesedays Im doing more graphic design type things and the mouse just sucks ass. Its the middle of winter and I just bought a house, so its hard to drop 2-300 bucks, but I can trade out that (and extra) to make my life easier! I might just drop the dough if I have to...
