lots of stuff in one topic

i spent a very long time reading the topic "tattoo school blah blah blah" now im paralyzed and my eyes are bleeding from the white words on a black backround. however tattoo schools sound like shit on a stick to me. not very appealing eh'? i have a friend who wants to go to the one in michigan but now im telling her not to. TAZ stated in one of his blogs that he is open to aspiring tattoo artists. a friend of mine and i want to tattoo so bad we can taste it, so i was wondering where taz is located, and if he is still up to apprenticing. i personally have 7 months of being an apprentice under my belt, but the boys that owned the shop fucked up (stole money from their own shop) and we went bankrupt. i have designed tattoos and people have gotten them tattood on them. dont ask for pictures because this was a while back and i didnt get to keep my drawings or the stenciles. i didnt have to pay a penny to apprentice lucky me, and i was happily the shop bitch. now my luck ran out and i cant find an apprenticeship ANYWHERE! i had a friend who was opening a shop and i was going to be the apprentice and "hot desk girl" my name was going to be on the sign with theirs too. but he did something so we arent friends anymore, and that shop dream is shattered. this has just made me more motivated to fulfill my dreams. so the point of this rambling story is: if any of you out there have has these let downs anf feel like quitting DONT. it made me stronger, and more motivated, and it will make you that way too. remember the name Alice Jaggers, because you guys are going to see alot of me here in the coming years!
One thing I hear from almost all professional tattoo artists is "Whenever someone or something tried to keep me down, I worked harder and smarter." Its natures way of making sure the smart hard working people mark the publics skin, and not lazy stupid people. With that determination, all you need is smarts, to get better at your art every day, and to be a honest somewhat socialble/accepting personable person. Lets see some of your art...
thanks for your input gabe. highly appreciated. how do i get my drawings up on here? i havent tattooed anybody but i have some drawings. thanks again!
