I don't get it...I get my machines running very well and my liners are always getting really hot...I can't figure out why. All my liners were 10 wrap coils and i've read so many good things about the Soba pilot liner that i purchased the kit from Workhorse Irons 2 weeks ago....I assembled it properly and set it up the way i like to run my machines. IT has 8 wrap coils and I was thinking that the smaller coils would create less heat you know...less wire=less resistance therefore less heat..that was my theory...I know i put it together right..I had one of my coworkers(a twenty year veteran in this business) look at it and she said i did a really nice job. I think now though that it has something to do with the amount of throw I use on my machine..but i am not sure...I set a very large throw and run my machine pretty hard and fast...Using an Eikon power supply....Any of you veterans have any suggestions?...A no I am not a scratcher...and yes I do work in a shop.
