MALL CHAIN OF TATTOO SHOPS?!?!?

i heard about some plans that someone is hoping to open a chain of tattoo shops in N.Y and eventually the whole u.s. these are suposed to me located in MALLS and i truely feel this could be a huge blow to the industry if it happens. tattoo shops should be known for their work. not their size. and in my opinion this could really hurt the amount of walk in customers who to some the artist doesnt even matter so longh as its cheap.. this sucks.
