memorial tat

my dad died of cancer when i was 8. i'm now 17 and looking for a good memorial tattoo design. i was thinking of a livestrong band with his name on the back. does anyone have any other ideas to incorporate cancer and his name into one tattoo?

Hey Man, my dad is a 2 time cancer survivor, and what I was thinking is this... That disease will never rob me of the memory of what is great about my dad, so I'd go talk to a custom artist and design something awesome that centers around what your dad was like, what his personality and likes and dislikes were like. Memorialize the GOOD things about your dad in a beautiful way. Don't memorialize the Shit Sucking disease that took his life. Your dad was a beautiful guy... that disease shouldn't have any part in your memories of him. Good luck! This one will be very meaningful!
