Might be a stupid question...??

Hi, I am aspiring tattoo artist from Oklahoma City. Well I kind of have a stupid question I suppose...I was looking online about tattooing and just trying to read up on any information I could get, so I can get a head start on the learning process. I came across a site that said to use a "Nib" I was just wondering if a "Nib" was another word for a tattoo machine tip or if it was something completely different. I also was wondering, does anyone have any suggestions on apprentanships in Oklahoma. The laws have just changed here to allow tattoos, so no tattoo parlors have been open long enough to really know which ones are the best, and most of them have said they don't really have the clientel or room yet, any suggestion?Thank you so much for any feedback. Okay the Nib they are referring to is the energy that is being produced in the tattoo coils itself , when the armature bars compresses and hits the two coils a burst of energy happens and sends the armature bar back up ... this is called Nuclear Instant Bursts hence NIB . Remember when buying a tattoo machine , make sure to ask for the NIB rating of the tattoo coils ..... if you have the wrong power supply and a machine with a high number of NIBs a tattoo coil can blow up right in front of your face ! An apprentice of mine had his finger blown off , because of this mistake .

I love people like you; not the guy that doesnt know anything about tattooing, but the dick who refuses to shed any light on a subject to those that aren't so privy. Most likely you're just another shitty artist and a tattoo hack to boot thats afraid of the day when talented artists take over the industry and put you out of a job. Hell forbid anyone new tries to start out in this industry and show up all the fucks like yourself.
