Misteak

I have a blue star tattoo with super ugly shading around it...I actually started off with just the star with some black swirls and had that done twice and then re-worked it with some more swirls and the shading...then for the forth time had it done again and brightned everything up and overlayed bright purple over the black..and although I think it looks waaayyy better, I still don't like the shading..its not me. The tattoo is on the right side of my neck and covers most of that side. I really don't like it and wasn't going to get it re done again but I was wondering if there is something nice that could cover it up..but also something that would look good on a girly girl??? Please help me!!!!
