My First Tattoo!!! TreatMeNt

I just got my first tattoo on Friday.(Feb 3, 2006) My initials on my arm. My friend said to only use Ink Fixx, and she lended me a can. I have heard to never use Nerosporin, Is That TRUE? My tattoo just started scabbing and peeling yesterday so..... Anybody have an idea or recomendation please let me know? Or and answer? Thanks a Bunch, Jeremy

Hey Jeremy, Firstly use the directions that your tattoo artists recommended, not your friend. Secondly if your tattoo is already like 4 days in and peeling than your at a stage to start using a fragrance free hand cream. Prolonged use with either Neosporen, A&D ointment, even ink fix, could make the skin overly greasy, and cause breakout blemishes, and just make for a messy healing. Using products such as ink fix is most certainly an alternative, but speak to your artist first. JOE
