my tattoo

i got my 3rd tattoo done by the same tattooist last weds so 5 days ago its on my lower arm just above my wrist the middle part is a star which i had done to cover up an old home tattoo done 18 years ago he told me he had to go over the star a good few times to cover up the old lettering but this part of the tatt (star) is really hurting my arm is a bit swollen still it is all healing well elsewhere and starting to form scabs the star is forming lumpy scabs and ive noticed today one part is weeping a little,ive done the same process as my other tatts use savlon etc do u think i have an infection or is it the case that its because the area was gone over a few times to cover the old one? plz plz someone offer some advise,i will be going to show my artist tomorrow if this carries on as i am a little concernd thanks pinky.
