need some ideas

k i really want my next tat to be on my lower abs...am 19 male and am not sure what to get i been thinking about tribal a lot, but am open for anything i dont want it to be a color tat n i dont want it to be too big something like hmm something like 8 x 3or4 inchs n it would be on my lower abs lil towards right hip...plz help me out

I don't mean to sound bitchy, but it's really not a great idea to get a tattoo if you don't have any idea about what to get, especially at your age, when you're constantly changing your mind about everything (I don't mean that as an insult; just a fact- I'm in my early 20s, and know how indecisive my friends and I can be!) That being said, your description of what you want was very vague. What are your interests/passions? Is there anything going on in your life that you want to commemorate? Is there a design that has a special meaning to you? Get some inspiration from yourself, then come back here or go to your artist. Or do you just want to get a tattoo to get a tattoo (nothing wrong with that in and of itself, but, like I said above, you might regret it in a few years)? In that case, I'd suggest heading to your favorite artist, taking a look at some flash, and seeing what appeals to you.

unles you plan to stay slim your whole life, a lower ab tattoo can turn ugly real fast.

True that nos! yeah, man, you need to give us more to go on, and you should probably wait. I advise people to rese3arch art and tattoos for a few years and then figure it out. well see i know wit w.e. i get i will love it..n i been told that before think longer about it ...bla bla bla more about me...hard to say am well rounded..am active love sports love music...am going to be a firefighter..i love my close family(mom,dad,sis) they r all i have...my fave kind of tats r tribunal and chinese writeing...but alrdy have chinese writeing on my left arm n i dont want to do anymore right now...so what i am looking for is a nice tribunal on my lower abs........ps i do plan on staying in shape

Tribunal tattoos, eh? I can tell you've done your research. And I hate to tell you this but despite you desire to stay in shape gravity does eventually take over. I think everyone's point is you shouldn't have to post on a public forum filled with people you don't know in order to figure out what you want. Honestly with the taste you have in tattoos it seems you'd be fine just walking into a street shop and picking something off the wall. So that might be your best bet.

i think you should know... tribal is only ok to get if your in the ufc. otherwise id say, no go on the tribal. get creative dude. tattoos are art. if you have no idea what to get then id say your best bet is not getting anything. and if your absolutely set on getting a tattoo there go into some shops and look at art on the wall. not very original though..

Have you looked at the custom tattoos on this site? tirbunal and kanji are your favorites? PUKE. Ooopse, sorry, that was rude. There are good reason to get tribal and kanji I guess, but lack of artistic and tattoo knowledge is usually the reason people get tattoos like that... I would suggest reading Getting the perfect tattoo and looking at tattoos for hours and hours. do so much homework you almost have a minor art degree. Who are your favorite artists? How about tattoo artists?
