there sure is a lot of negativity on here. when some one asks a question u dont need to mock them or make fun of there question people have to start some where so help them dont talk crap. not one person started off tattooing and was perfect so get a life. mario

Read the very top posts...the moderator of this forum and owner of tattoonow has respectfully asked that no technical info on tattooing be posted in this forum. You do not have to agree with this rule but you should respect Gabes wishes

Mario, I agree, its kinda like the wild west here sometimes. But you know what? When people learn to tattoo by trial and error on peoples skins they kinda get what they deserve... that is, I see the harsh nature of a public throgging (which is nothing compared to what they did to scratchers 30 years ago) as natures way of saying, hey bucko, stop #@$%ing up peoples skins. Its not impossible to break in if you are an amazing artist getting amazing tattoos. Then you get real advice from real artists. Free anonymous public forums arent the place. In short, putting artwork on peoples bodies before your ready will earn you bad karma, so dont come crying to me that people are mean to you. Maybe the lesson you need to learn is patience and really read and comprehend whats on this website and the many other good ones out there. We want bad ass artists to learn to tattoo and we want people who want to become tattoo artists to become bad ass artists. And on top of that, this is a public forum open to all ages, we know there are plenty of minors reading, and we want information about the technical aspects of tattooing kept amongst professionals. We are addressing the issues of organizing the site to be clear and help the right people on the right path, bear with us. In the meantime, go browse through the tattoo galleries and check out some of the work tattoo artists are producing thesedays. If you can do work like that on paper you need to hustle. As more trained artists kick the game up for everyone, the more important amazing drawing skills are gonna be needed. Which is awesome, cause amazing artists is what the industry needs more of. Get off the internet, go draw and take more art classes!
