new ink...little bumps

Hey eveyone. I just did an hour of color on a large piece that goes from the top of my should to a few inches above my elbow. I had no problems with the line work and black shading.... other than it itched off and on for a couple months. A week ago I went in for an hour to start color. Now, there are little bumps all in the colored areas... like ingrown hair. And it itches like a mofo. Are the bumps actual ingrown hairs coming in? Or is it some little allregic reaction? I don't think it is an allergic reaction since this didn't happen with the black / grey done in the original sitting. The artist uses Starbright ink which seems to be good ink. I have about 2 hrs of coloring left and just seem concerned.... unless this is normal with the healing process. Thanks!
