Next Generation

I've heard many, many, many great things about these machines, and a friend of mine who also tattoos highly recomends these machines. I am thinking of purchasing a liner from them but have not been able to find any honest negative feedback on them. I guess its possible that they are perfect, but i find that highly unlikely. If anyone has used these machines before and has any info you think somone should know about them...like faults or quirks you've noticed, please email me as i would appreciate any insight prior to laying out the hard earned cash. Im not trying to start a "best machine" battle, but im sure you all know how tough it can be to find a new machine you can really get behiend.
They are one of those great built machines. There are many like that...Its all up to personal taste once the quality is there. Thats really all there is too it. Inferior machines dont count.lol
I haven't used a Next Gen myself, but Jeff Ensminger uses them, and I'll tell you, his work is very solid and nothing short of amazing. He loves these machines so you may want to check his pics out in the gallery on this site and email him from there to get a real opinion on the machines.
walking trough the tampa convention, i noticed that like 80% of the artist were using Next Generation machines .
If you want a machine that you will adjust every other day great get it. I got tattooed with one and the lady did nothing but keep adjusting it during the tattoo. From other artist that owned them I heard the same thing. So if you want a machine that needs constant adjustment go ahead. I like a simple smooth running machine. Pulse gasby is GREAT and even mickysharps.
I have to agree with "ass" on the last post. This review of the machines is from an earlier post of mine. Long story short, if your going to drop the cash, go with Pulse. Here's the experience: I liked the NG's until they started running strangely. When they warmed up they would sputter out after about 10 minutes. I called and the owner (of NG) gave me a "workaround" involving the use of electrical tape over the front binding post screw. He was going to retrofit the machines at a convention, then did not show up there. So, I called and left more than one message, and have not had a returned call several weeks later. He was a VERY nice person when I ordered them and dropped over a grand, now can't get a call back. So, I fixed them myself and sold them (in shop in case something goes wrong with them). Since then I have purchased Pulse and a certain digital power supply. Great setup!! The tube vise on the shader is hard to work with (too tight) but I figure it will loosen up with use. Also, very punchy and the liner doubles well as a wash machine. I have not run into any issues where I need to try out their customer service. My time machines still run great after years of service, only have to change springs from time to time. Kandyman Joe www.pureimaginationtattoos.com
