ok to reuse empty ink bottles?

I have some ink that has just eased passed its expiration date, and i was wondering if it would be ok to dump it out, and then clean these bottles out, to be refilled again.

Not for tattoo ink. When the paint expires, consider the bottle expired too, and spring the two bucks for new plastic.
