OT: A thought about the prolonged primary season...

Been listening to the radio a lot lately and heard an interesting idea. the prolonged primary gives the corporate media a lot more time to stack the deck. As much as I like Obama, I do believe he tows the global corporate line just like Hillary, right? On another note, I dont get why so many sports people profess a hate for politics. Its kinda like watching the same details about a team game you would in sports, only the results of the game directly effect our lives. Its kinda like they created sports to be a distraction! Ha, I dont mean to say all sports fans are distracted from politics, but I guess Im confused why people who like one horse race would be so apathetic to the horse race that takes money from(or helps the environment put it back into) our pockets...
oopse, I meant to say I have been listening to podcasts a lot. Thom Hartman may look like a square, but he is very very smart and educated. I do also watch and read the corperate media (CNN, FOX, and now MSNBC). DrudgeReport is my first news link (followed by Huffingtonpost). I will listen/watch any of the others if the oppertunity presents, and the Thom Hartman podcasts whenever I cant.
