Perfect initial liner?

5 messages · last activity 11/20/2010

I used to swear by a 5 liner as the best initial liner but Im liking the 3 a lot too. I used to save it as a specialty detailer, but it seems to make a fair outline as well. Of course all tattoos are different and require different tools, as a general initial liner Im enjoying the 3. Anyone else out there use the 3 as an initial liner too? Pete
no way man...overkill! my standard initial liner is a 7 round. and if its a tattoo of smaller stature, i use a 5 round. and if i need suuuuper hardcore detail, i use a T5 round. i've used 8 liners too for bigger, bolder tattoos. a T5 usually does it for detail work with me, and i rarely use a 3 unless absolutely necessary. i think a 7 is the perfect initial liner.
Just remember " Bold will Hold"
