Picking a color

Im getting a dragon going up my arm to cover an old tattoo i have on my forearm. I have a real dark red black and orange sun on my shoulder. Im now trying to figure out what color to make this dragon. I like bright colors, anyone have any ideas or pics of dif colors on skin. Ive been looking up dragons but mostly just find red and black. Is there anyplace i can go to look at colors on skin. Also...i heard the color of the dragon means something...anyone heard of this?

Dragons are mythical creatures that have a pretty serious background in damn near every culture. Color? well idk depends on your skin tone would be my best advice and the artist you're choosing to do the cover up should be the person you make the final decision with. There's an awful lot that can be done wiht cover ups that's for sure , but from the artist's point of view you'd want them to be comfortable with your decisions, especially regarding color I would think. I can't say if the color of a dragon means much , I just don't know. Probably depends on the style of dragon you're choosing, you know fantasy , or japanese inspired , celtic, pretty big list if you lay it all out. Google it. best of luck to you
