portfolio

I have been tattooing for a while and have made the decision to do it right by finding a good apprenticeship and learn from a proffesional. my question is should i include pictures of my past work in my portfolio? some of them are very good.

Never, never, never!!! You should get an apprenticeship based on your drawings, enthusiasm, and personality alone. No tattoo artist is going to want to teach a "scratcher". Sorry for being so blunt. If you really are good you can wow him with your work when he says you can use a machine. Till then put down the machine and pick up the pencil. Draw, draw, draw!!!
