shading /healing

hey guys justa question for u i recently had my arm done with a lot of shade work its been 7 days and it still looks really dark and more brown i was under the impression it would be smokey / grey so am a bit worried that it will stay this dark can i expect it to lighten up or am i stuck with the darker colour thanks jess
