SHIGE, Japanese new school

Hey does anybody know anything about this artist Shige? I've checked out his work at http://www.yellowblaze.net/ and its some of the best of that style that I've seen. Does anybody have any ink done by him? And can anybody suggest other artists of the same standard? Many thanks

Shige is an amazing artist, and he guest spots in NYC often, so check his site for updates on that.

You are correct. Shige is one of the world's best little known tattoo artists. I got my first Shige tattoo in the fall of 2001. His potfolio blew me away when I met him at the Mass.Tattoo Conv. He has done 4 more pieces for me, having caught up with him in the NYC and NJ conventions. At our last get together, he told me that he wouldn't be coming to the east coast for a long time. Since then Eric Desmond aka, Horifudo, has completed my sleeves, harmoniously blending his work with Shige's. Check him out @ horifudo.com

SHIGE is the Best, I haven been a fan of him for about a year now and have not seen an artist that compares!! Does anybody know some good tattoo artists in Dallas? :-/
