Shoulder Blade Tattoo Concern

Evening Forum, Yesterday I had a 2 year old shoulder blade piece colored in. My tattoo artist, at one point during the tattoo, hit something in my right shoulder blade and it sent a serious numbness through my whole right arm. He then struck it again and my entire right leg and thigh went numb as well. My tattoo artist is very talented and cleaner than any other artist I've been to. Is this numbness the result of a accidental hit nerve possibly or should I pay my artist a visit of concern? Always-Ericka

i just got a tattoo on my right shoulder blade and everytime she hit a certain area it would hit my nerve and it hurt under my right arm pit lol....mine 2.5 hrs and hardly hurt a bit...its a memorial tattoo and i love it!!!!!! would definatly do it again
