Yes. Or before. I usually suggest Ringling school of design in florida (sarasota maybe?). You should always spend time focusing on your original art. It will help your tattooing and the ideas from your clients should help you think of ideas for your original art... Is there a place online we can check out your art?

i agree. do as much as possable to further your artistic abilities and it will show in the tattoos you put out.

yeah i just put a my space together with the help of my friends just a little nervous and intimidated theres a lot of killer artists out there

Dont be afraid, when you tattoo you will have to put your artwork on someones skin forever, there can be no shame! Lets see your myspace and if you want to keep our advice private thats cool, but its better that everyone can read our advice and learn our thoughts...
