Specific Artist in Sac or Northern Ca

I am going to get my first tattoo next month and would like someone to recommend an artist in the Sacramento/Stockton area that does quality work. I am going to get my sons name in Japanese on my leg. I would really appreciate specific artists as compared to studios. I have been referred to Big Phil of In 2 Skin in Stockton, Ca. Anybody know about him or has anybody else who does quality work for me to check out it would be greatly appreciated. JJ
