Straight Jacket

Hey just wondering if any one can tell me what the facination of straight jacket tattoo or multiple ones would be?? Why would one be so in to this type of tattoo?? Does any one know about these type of things. I need to know because my son is getting several of these they look cool but if there is more to than that I wold like to have a clue!!
