Swelling in arm after getting tattoo...

HEY EVERYONE! I got my third tattoo over the last month. Its a half sleeve so I have had a few sessions already. The first session, being the outline went very well. Second session with darkening and shading was amazing. I bruise very easily so I figured the healing process might be tough but this is insane - I went to do some of the coloring and now my elbow is super swollen. It actually starts above the elbow and goes down to a quarter of my forearm. The swelling has gone up since yesterday. I am now at my second day of healing. Is this normal!??!?! As I never experienced this before.
