Tattoo Apprenticeship in Central California

Ive grown up in the "tattoo" world.. My dad is covored in tattoos, My mom has tattoos, my sisters have tattoos.. and so on.. I even have a few tattoos.. Well I tryed the whole "shop in a box" thing.. and my dad got me a training DVD.. "Hildabrant Training DVD" I would not suggest it to anyone.. I DID NOT TATTOO ANYONE USING THOSE TECHNIQUES! Well one of my friends (who has been tattooing for about 4 years) took me under his wing, taught me about the machine, taught me some lineing and shading techniques, but we lost touch with eachother.. I know what I learned wasnt enough.. And it bugs me that all of my tattoo equipment is just sitting there, I put together an apprenticeship portfolio (all of my art over the years).. But I dont know how to approach a shop owner or anything.. So I was wondering if anyone on here know of any shops in central califonia (Merced, Madera, Fresno, Selma, Hanford, Tulare) looking for an apprentice???

Just a small bit of advice hun. get rid of the name. nobody wants to hire a kat von d wannabe as they would assume that ur not getting into the industry for the love of the art and tattoos but for the want to be like kat von d.
