tattoo cost

I want to get a half-sleeve tattoo of a dragon. It will be solely black and shading, the only color might just be red for the eyes. Can anyone give me an idea of how much that might cost or even just a price range?

This may not seem helpful, but it is intended to be... Visit explore as many artists as you can. Discuss what you want in your tattoo. Choose your artist based on his work, travel if you have to. When you've picked out an artist based upon the quality of his/her work, ask for an estimate (so you know how much cash to bring with you, most tattoo artists enjoy cash).
