My husband has a tattoo done about 2 years ago, on his forearm thats in chinese writing. It appears that something may have bit him on a part of the tattoo, now the tattoo is starting to pop out only where the ink is at. It's itching him really bad and hurts. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? Should he go to the hospital?

sounds like the acrylic resin in the tattoo colour has polymerised, that is to say it's gone hard and formed little lumps under the skin. Word of warning to anyone thinking of being tattooed, don't let the artist use colour on you that is dispersed in acrylic copolymer! it's casuing these sorts of delayed reactions all the time!
