"Tattoo Sketch Book" ???>>>

Hello, Back when I was in high school I met a guy who took great interest in what i like it call "abstract flowers and stars" I would sketch with pen/ink...He asked me to put together a 50 page sketch book and that he would look it over and get back to me with a price for the sketches...I got played and I never saw him again... Well that was 7 years ago and now I know some people in my area who may be interested in a book of my sketches, My question is, is there any set value to a 50 page sketch book? I mean there is a great deal of time in effort (hours or drawing) that go into it... Sorry if I'm being to vague, this is all really new to me...Any advice is appreciated...
