tattooed wrist

hi there just got another tattoo yesterday 5th may on my wrist this is my 12th tattoo and i have never suffered from swelling before is this because where the tattoo is or is someting else wrong with it please help.

Hey- I have both of my wrists done- one I did and another one that my tattoo artist did- and here is what I can tell you: wrists usually are more sensitve and more prone to swelling - BUT it goes away within a week. It took the one my artist did two solid weeks to heal-and it was sore and swollen for longer than my other ones. I had the same experience with the one I did on myself so for me it was normal. My daughter who is 18 had her wrist done and although hers didnt swell as much it was still a tad swollen (she uses the same artist I do) I should add that I am also diabetic so for me healing in two weeks is again norm for me anyways. As long as it isnt infected you will be ok. Swelling is totally norm. And with anything- when in doubt- call your artist or a md.
