That's fine. There's no regulation in the tattoo industry to stop that anyway.
Its a little hard to understand what your saying, you need to try periods and such to avoid a confussing run on sentance. But no, that is not ok. Im many states they have both state and local laws and regulations to prohibit just that. In some states they dont yet. Legal or not, its not right, and a terrible idea. Following this post there will likely be half a dozen kitchen magicians and scratchers posting about how its ok, and you dont need training....and a bunch of other sorry and out-dated excusses for not doing things right. They will post about tattooers that learned and were self taught and opened shops without experiance. They will say how these people are great now and never mention how times have changed. That shit isnt ok anymore, and those self taught brand names are often the first to say it wasnt the best way...and should not be done that way nowadays at all. The standard of quality is higher than its ever been in tattooing, and the amount of infectious desease out there is staggering. Fucking staggering. You probably walked past 12 people today by noon that have hep. If you think that shit isnt easily and likely spread by untrained tattooist, your living in candy land. If you think theres an excuss not to do a proper apprenticeship in this day and age, your mistaken. And if you think bad work is exceptable, you make me sad. Believe what you want man, but that shit is shady, and in some cases subject to fines or lock up.
its not me ive payed my dews over the past 22 years its another clown in our town if i spent the time to explane what kind of practices said person does it would make ya puke the topper for me is the tattooing with dog on lap and dirty needles scattered all over the floor trust me its gross and our local health board wont do shit about it either
isnt there already a post on this
I think a lot of scratchers end up opening their own shops because no one would hire them at an already existing shop.
I think that tattooing should be like other trades. My b/f is an electrition and he started out as an apprentice, then a licensed electrition and he would need a different license to become a contractor.
I think the same should go for shop owners. I know that's a slippery argument, given there are legit non-tattooing shop owners but I think you get what I mean.
