I am wanting to get a tattoo. But i'm 15 years old. Its nothing that I would regret in the future. Its just a small heart on my finger. I am suppose to get it wih my sister as a sister kinda tattoo that we will both have. Is getting a tattoo at 15 illigal, with parent consent? where could I get it done if its legal?
Please if your going to trying something saying ill regret it or somethint supid. Dont even reply.

dont know where you are but as far as i know its been illegal for under 18s since 1993. sorry
Here in florida, There is no legal age to get a tattoo with a parent. Most shops just simply wont tattoo someone your age. Especially tattooing on the hand. I know for certain my shop wont tattoo anywhere that might ruin your chances of finding work unless you are already heavily tattoo'd For example, Hands and necks.
come to minnesota!!! have parent concent and ur good to go!!!!
No REPUTABLE artist will tattoo anyone under 18 regardless of the law or geography.
Its certainly illegal to get urself tattooed before the age of 18, specially without parental permission. You can go in for very cool looking temporary tattoos, which look very real! You can check out these websites:

in this day and age there are 13 year olds buying cheap shit tattoo equipment off ebay anyway age dont mean shit
I got my first tattoo with a fake ID at age 16. I HATE it now and will eventually cover it up. I have lots of other ones, some I don't love, but the only one I totally despise is the first. If you're going to someplace because they will tattoo you at age 15, you probably aren't going to the best artist. Just color it on everyday with a pen for a few more years and get it when you're 18.
I've wanted a chest piece for years and I won't let myself get it until I become an awesome artist (just started my apprenticeship) or til I'm 32 and have a career. 32 years old is 7 years away for me and god knows how long it will take til I can tattoo real people much less be awesome. Three years isn't long, just wait.
if you have parent consent, its legal almost anywhere. but i would most defiantly wait. i know a bunch of people already said that, but if if you ask a question like that on a public tattoo forum, a lot of people know what they're talking about when they say you should think on it for a few more years. you would be wise to take the advice. i know it probably seems like 18 is forever away, but if you just bite it, and do your time, you wont have that regret. and after those 3 years, if you still want it, go for it. wanting it is half the fun. and when you get something you had to wait for that you wanted so badly, it will be sooo much better, and way worth it. and if you don't want it in 3 years, you wont have it as an eyesore or the constant aching reminder of not taking good advice when you should have. we aren't trying to shoot you down, we just want you to be happy later and learn from others' mistakes.
