tattooing minors

OK. My mom wants to get me a tattoo for my 17th birthday. We live right on the Illinois/Iowa border, and I can't find a tattoo shop that will ink anyone under 18. However, I do look 18 and have for several years. I reallly want a tattoo but no one will do it. I'm tempted to show up and say that I'm 18, but I'm afraid they'll ask for ID and I'll get busted. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble or get anyone shut down, I just want my freakin tattoo. Can someone tell me how to find a shop that will do this for me? I don't want any crap about how wrong you think tattooing minors is or anything like that. And I would preferably want it done this weekend, so if anyone can get back to me before then, I would appreciate it. thanks, Me.

As used in this Section, to "tattoo" means to insert pigment under the surface of the skin of a human being, by pricking with a needle or otherwise, so as to produce an indelible mark or figure visible through the skin. 91_HB0360 LRB9101168RCks 1 AN ACT to amend the Criminal Code of 1961 by changing 2 Section 12-10. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5.
