Im thinking of tattooing two amy brown tattoos on each one of my sides once i draw them up. Only thing is well after having three kids i have some stretch marks in that area is it okay to tattoo on them, and are there any precautions i should be aware of??
tattooing stretch marks

I wish you "professionals" would answer this one. Im actually more curious than anything if people have done tattoos on stretch marks and what the come out was.
ok ok here we go hold on im typing with one eye closed and one hand on my coffee cup lol. yes you can tattoo over those damm stretch marks i hate em. it can be done and depending on the severity of the scar tissue build up is going to be the factor the less the white plasma cells and tissue is collected in the said stretched area will be the deciding factor. heavy scar will be more pain less will still hurt somewhat but not to bad the trick is to pull the attetion away from the scar so its not noticeable or not even seen.ive tattooed over scars and it does take time as to not develop more prominent scaring and tissue build up. get it stenciled where ya want it at and discuss it with the artist and make sure its to your liking.best of luck (don)
thanks i always wondered that..but am a tad bit embarrassed to get it tattooed...o well once im brave enough to show them lol, and then i didnt know if it would hurt alot. But ive had some painful tattoos one around my ankle and a cover up on my arm which i swear he was putting the needle through the other side of my arm and it felt like someone punched me real hard in the shoulder for a few weeks :)..thanks for answering anyways i appreciate it!!
I have been tattooed over a huge stretch mark (about the width of a finger) on my hip with no major blowouts or problems. It can be done but I suggest using less ink and to go a little lighter than normal. Try to position as much of your design around it. And don't be ashamed or embarrassed. I'm sure your artist has seen enough 300lb plumbers cracks and would love a chance to tattoo you! :)
Ask you girlfriends or other women you meet about their artist. Maybe you can find one that isn't so heavy handed. They are out there I promise. My husband is one of them :)
thanks I still would feel wierd about it..lol but hey its part of having kids for some of us..thats what you get for only being 115 to start and having an almost 9pd baby. I'll either get them there or done on each side of the back of my shoulders. Ive been wanting them forever and I was going to let the place who did my cover up do them but I dont know if they even exsist anymore with the hurricane and everything.
