Tattoos and Traveling

I posted this on http://www.tattooconnect.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1492 There wasnt a topic about this one and thought there should be Im getting a tattoo from Jesse Smith (www.kaoticenzymes.com) in september and have some question about traveling and tattoo care. These are some just general curiosity issues, and will ask them for others too, some real question thats I need answers What should I pack? If I have to take care of the tattoo while im still in the country (Denmark) what should I have with me? The plain ride would be like 4hours, but then theres the train back to home (6-9hours). What do I need to keep it clean and wash it (if I have to) when on plain, train, at the hotel etc? Tattoo cream When traveling to a artist, do you have to take your own ointment with you, or do you get it from artists? Because in Finland we have different ointment than in USA etc. And I believe its natural that all artists have there own way of healing the tattoo. So how do these things normally work? Does the plain ride effect tattoo Does it? If your ears can lock up, what about wound? Money I can ask this from Jesse too, for a clear answer, but maybe others would like to know too. What is the normal practise on money and traveling? Do artists (if doing a guest spot in other country) want to cash in there countrys currency, or the country that they are wisiting? Theres some. I ask more if anything comes to mind :)
