Has anyone else heard that Chris Trevino at Perfection tattoo in Austin, Texas is doing tebori tattooing? ( I know I could just call...but I was here and thought I'd ask.)
And can anyone tell me their personal experiences getting tebori done? I'm saving my chest for this type of tattoo, and am interested in knowing more about it.
Thanks y'all.

My work in progress is/will be done partly with the tebori technique. Mark Merchant in Dallas has done a WONDERFUL job thus far. Mine is a Koi with water, leaves, etc...In my opinion, the outlining (with the machine) hurt a lot more than the color (tebori). It's not even close to being finished, but the method was a little less painful. Check out his website, www.nineeyesstudio.com. Austin isn't that far from Dallas! I feel really comfortable being in his studio. I looked at a lot of shops before finding him.
chris is the one to go to in austin. richard stell is the guy to see in dallas. in san antonio it is weldon lewis.
