Thermofax Machine vs. NON thermofax stencil maker

I've been using the 3M Thermofax for a while now at the shop and it's great. I've been thinking of getting one of my own. However when I try to shop for one online (say, Ebay) Thermofax machines run from $700-$1100. And then there is this NON-thermofax stencil maker, that goes for $150. My question is, are they any good? I have never seen one in person before nor have I used one. But if I get good reviews, it would be nice to save some money. If not, I'd rather buy one that actually does what I want it to. SOOO, I hope I get some good answers from all you guys!!

STICK TO THE THERMAL!!!!!!!! I got one of those so called stencile makers nothing but a damm expensive paper weight! works very limited designs wasted more carbon paper than is worth!

Agreed! Those stupid machines suck butt and break within a few uses! I took one apart and if you saw what was in it you would say WTF? Not worth the box it is even packed in and impossible to repair when it messes up.
