Hey all, Just wondering how long does it normally take for a photorealstic tat, like something nikko/devries do. Like a medium sized piece, with a pretty good amount of detail. i know every artist varies in time, but like a general estimate of how quick it can be, and how long it shouldn't be. thanks -Saam
a long time, and usually two sittings... like 5-9 hours is what they would work when here. Stefano the same...
I have specialized in portrait art for 22 years using numerous mediums. Oil on canvas, airbrush, and body art (tattoo). I always try to schedule 3 sittings over a six to eight week period, depending on the individual’s speed of recovery. I work in a layer fashion, rather than sections. All artists are different. Choose someone reputable to the best of your ability and discuss the time involved with them. Just remember, good detail takes time, across the board.
