Toe Nail Removed

I recently had my big toe nail removed and I can't stand seeing it like that. I would like to know if a tattoo can be done around it and if so I would like to see whats out there. Please please answer. Thanks!

Well, Obviously you would want to wait until the area is completely heal...duh! (thank you captain obvious) There would be no reason that it could not be done. You would also run the risk of the tattoo never holding is color (fading) as you would if, for example, you had the top of your foot tattooed. Unfortunately I can't really point you in any particular direction as to where to look for visual refrences but there are many people out there and I am sure someone knows something....J

On the pad? I'd imagine that'd be excrutiating. Something along the lines of, well, needles stuck under one's fingernails. Or am I misunderstanding?

is the nail going to grow back??? if so, just wear tennis shoes even when you shower, or put a toe-condom. Dam I wouldn't even think about a tat in that area after my toe nail was removed. OUCH

haha i have the same thing, but i have both my big toe nails removed i kept getting ingrown toe nails. and i had a flesh eating infection that came back and they thought that was the reason, so they took them out. i hate looking at them too. i was thinking of tattooing toe nails back onto them, liker just right haggard looking ones,

If you need reference photos for haggard toe nails try to find pics of Vincent ( Don Vito) Margera's toenails the are quite gut-wrenching. I know there was an episode of Viva La Bam! that had a segment about his toenails if you can get it on DVD you can use WinDVD to get a still frame jpeg. I just thought I'd point you in the right direction because that's a tattoo I would enjoy seeing. Good Luck!
