it really depends on your personal taste, just because someone else may like a certain color combination, you may not. For instance, 9.999999% of the time, i can't STAND red with green, and the 0.000001% that i do like it is MAYBE on christmas and that's if it's used right. BUT, my fiance's father loves to put deep reds with lighter greens. It is really what you want it to look like. I would ask myself how much do i want it to stand out what do i like to pair with green when i'm drawing/dressing what is my favorite color not what a bunch of other people might like

I like the thought of the vines, but I'd leave the text out altogether. More of a conversation starter. Probably not very helpful, huh....

I just wanted to say that I think your little voting thingy was very creative. I picked #2 because it reminded me of vines growing around an old engraving in stone or something. I have to agree with the guy before me, though, the letters do look kind of out of place to me. Of course, if you take your design to a good custom artist he or she can give you way better ideas of how to work it out. Good luck!

Erm... Did you get those letters off of flamingtext.com? o_O Anywho, I personally don't like it, but maybe it would look better altogether if it was all tat.

Phil...I have been thinkin ( and that hurts!)...And now I gotta give you my opinion....28 is MY favorite...it has a good combination of color contrasts...red and green are usually NOT my favorite combos but this one just seems to "POP" Hope I wasn't being too grumpy earlier...having a really bad morning Great tattooing and keep us updated!...Thanks for posting and again sorry for the "old fart grumpy thing!"...TAz

Err hmm ok i see thanks for your ideas so far .. I will add a disclaimer to the page but just for you guys let me say that no-bodies opinion is going to change the eventual deciosion (other than the wife) i am just intrested to know what peeps think. also willow is my eldest daughters name , the other arm will be the same but with the name holly the letters are from www.dafont.com and is called Alfred Drake i think
