weird bumps

I got a tattoo on my outer calf three weeks ago, Now i am getting these itchy bumps on my leg they are around my knee area and on my thigh a bit, they look like little pimples and they itch like crazy, i have put alcohol on them and neosporin, do you think that i make them spread by scratching them, because they do spread? i can't help it i do it in my sleep? i have tons of tattoo's and they are all by good repitable artist i have never had this happen before....Do you think I am having some reaction to the ink? what can i do....

The time it happened to me it took a trip to the doctors office and some antibiotic to make them go away. As I remember he said it was from the shaving of the hair and not the tattoo. No ones fault just happens sometimes is what I was told! Oh and these guy aren't doctors, go to the doctor and it will clear up in a day or so with treatment.
