Today I went into a shop that's a bit of a trek from my home.... I went specifically to check out the lead artist's portfolio and one of the secondary artists - which I did for about 45 minutes.
Overhearing a girl ask about the open receptionist/administrative position, my ears perked up.....Long story short, I've dropped off a resume (waited 2 1/2 hours to speak with that guy, but that's fine... even better if it was some kind of intentional waiting).... and I'm pretty well-qualified in the administrative field, so that may pan out.
Interesting.... it would be great to do something in the field before I do an apprenticeship, especially something I'm already qualified for.
i'll post portfolio pics when I have more finished, btw. I'm still looking for one box of old stuff (oil, ink) that I packed when I moved.
