What do you guys think of Rune(s) tattoos?

just wondering, cuase i saw the Kanji thread... i've never really cared for kanji before cuase of how ppl say you have to be careful of what they put on you cuase they could put the wrong kanji on you.. i was wondering what you guys thought of runes tattoo's?? it's kinda along the same boat as Kanji, but diff. language/symbols, etc... i've not seen alot of ppl w/ runes tats before... i've seen a few here and there, and i've liked what i've seen... it's made me browse more into it for getting one for myself... i haven't settled on an image yet though... that will take some time for sure... but was wondering about your input on the subject...
