What holds up better over time

Are you more likely to have to get detail touched up over time or color? I'm guessing it depends on how well you take care of it and the skill of the artist. Does more detailed work such as portraits age differently than tattoos with larger blocks of color? I hope I'm making sense, let me know if I'm not! Any input is appreciated!

KIND OF AN AMBIGUOUS QUESTION BUT THE ANSWER IS...BOTH AND YES! oops sorry for da caps! The amount of detail and/or color really has nothing to do with a tattoos longevity......it has everything to do with teh skill of the artist and how its maintained (protection from uv rays, moisturized,exfoliated etc etc)Now tattoos that have too much detail concentrated in one area will blob up over time Hope I helped!
