What is the meaning of this tattoo?

I was wondering what the meaning of this tattoo is. I tried searching around the internet for it, but had no luck. Many thanks to anybody who can help.

Sorry this tattoo has no inherent meaning except the purely aethetic meaning of having a piece of tribal on your skin. Most tribal work today in the states ,although derived from the spiritual and geneological designs of such as the Maori of New Zealand and the Polynesian cultures, is used primarily for aesthetic value...that is because it looks cool ( well...sometimes it looks cool!)
