What kind of things did your Dad like? You can take ideas and things your Dad liked to do, or something that you two would do together that reminds you of him. If you take these kinds of things to a good artist they could easily design something up for you. If you need more direction with the subject, email me, and/ or we can set up instant messenger to talk in detail about some options for you, and I can direct you to a good artist in your area. Or else just ask the guys here, they have connections ALL over.
- Good luck
Dude put it perfectly. Remember your father, you want a tattoo to remind you of him. What do you think of when you think of him? These are the emotions and ideas and symbols that good tattoo artists can put into one final picture for you.
I like remembrance tattoos. It gives me a chance to stear people away from the " in loving memory of ______" tattoos. There are some supier duper fantabulous portrait artists out there and even some doing them in color , which I think is great. But I personally like hte hidden meanings of tattoos. Like a picture of your first bike your dad bought you , on a scene with that old swingset he used to push you on, and maybe a bright bright almost glowing headstone or cemetary in the background, or maybe just a real bright cluod in the sky wiht light shining on the prom dress he bought ya. Stuff like that. moments and emotions captured in skin. That look neat but hold more meaning than the people who compliment you on it could ever really understand the way you do. Was your father a pl;umber? maybe a pipe wrench with some wings and halo, a preacher, why not a bible with wings wrapped around it. Stuff like that. The father daughter bond is pretty universal among women and their fathers I think. IDK i'm not a woman. But it's a common theme in art. And one that I think you'll have very few troubles trying to capture , with the right artist and the right ideas from you.
