White Ink or Blacklight Ink?

4 messages · last activity 1/19/2007

I'm looking at getting another tattoo in a couple months and can't decide if I should go with white ink or the blacklight ink. Originally I wanted the blacklight ink but have heard that there could be complications from the ink itself and was wondering if anyone knew this to be true? And if anyone had any suggestions/preferrences over either of these inks? The design I'm going with is a Fleur de Lis and as for location was debating on either top of my foot of outside of my ankle. Any input would definilty be appreciate :)

Hey thanks for that link...helped a great deal.
My wife's first tattoo was a small star on her ankle, with blacklight accents. This about about eight or nine years ago, so I'm sure inks have changed since then. She says there were no complications or negative reactions, but it did fade off after a year or so. She's fairly fair skinned, and the white in her recent tattoo seems to be sticking quite well - of course, that's just her. Means nothing as to how it'd stick in your skin, but thought you might like to hear about someone else's experience with it.
